About Aarhus Business College

We educate, engage and empower our students for a global world

Who we are and what we do

Aarhus Business College was founded in 1865, and is Denmark’s oldest business college. The college was founded by visionary traders in Aarhus, who recognised a need to teach and train young businessmen and traders how to succeed in foreign markets. Now, more than 150 years on, the college’s main focus is still preparing young people for an international career.

We collaborate with educational institutions all over the world among others:

  • Hobarth College, Tasmania
  • Tafe Queensland, Brisbane
  • Austin Community College, Texas
  • Northeast Community College, Nebraska
  • Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City
  • Brighton Community College
  • Intuition, London, UK

Our students must have strong competencies to meet the requirements of the globalised world, and by providing our students with the opportunity to study abroad, we expand their future career options. Students who have studied or trained abroad meet the requirements of the international labour market for flexibility, independence and the willingness to embark on new challenges – also in a different culture.
